The reactive power control relay RGM-12S is designed to reduce the inductive power that is not used by the loads but is taken from the network. When inductive reactive power is taken from the network, it is eliminated by activating the corresponding capacitors. In this way, it aims to bring the Cos fi value to the desired level.
