TENSE has expanded its range of reactive power controllers with reactive power compensation systems.
The Turkish manufacturer TENSE (Turkey) RGT-12E is a new, 12-step reactive power compensation unit controller that meets the latest requirements of modern reactive power compensation systems. These systems are used in various areas of industry and the public sector – in factories, workshops, farms, hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, schools, hospitals, and banks.

The new reactive power controller (reactive power compensation controller) has the following features:

• 12 relay outputs;
• Ability to use with three or one current transformer;
• 2.9-inch LCD display + 17 LED indicators – for easy setting adjustments and complete monitoring of the compensation system's operation;
• Separate programmable relay output for various emergency situations – overvoltage, harmonics, power factor (cos φ);
• Password protection for settings, preventing unauthorized changes to capacitor unit operating parameters;
• Display of connected steps;
• Automatic and/or manual input of capacitor values step by step;
• Automatic monitoring of operating time to ensure even use of steps;
• User-adjustable time parameters – response time to network changes, discharge time, time before step reconnection, time between multiple step connections;
• Compensation of both inductive and capacitive reactive power components;
• Built-in active and reactive energy meters (import/export/inductive/capacitive);
• Harmonic display up to the 31st order for current and voltage;
• Measurement of total harmonic distortion of current and/or voltage;
• Built-in reactive power analyzer with storage log for stepwise selection of capacitors (20 storage, 9999 minutes of measurements).
